I had originally gone to Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings in Flushing, and I'm glad to see they have expanded to multiple Manhattan locations. It's a reliable spot for Shanghainese food, I understand why it's Michelin-recommended! Their soup dumplings are delicious - juicy meat and flavorful broth, with chewier but still thin enough skins. This visit we also opted for the beef noodle soup, bok choy, scallion pancake and ube red bean buns to share. Everything was flavorful and fresh, and service was no-frills and efficient.

Best soup dumplings ever. Insanely fast service, came at like 11 pm on a Sunday night with a group of 12 and got seated almost immediately. Nice interior, pretty clean looking restaurant. My gosh you can't go wrong with any of the soup dumplings. The truffle and classic dumplings blew me away. So juicy and warm. I'm drooling thinking about the meal I had there. Tried my friend's beef noodle soup and that was so delicious too. I'm so blown away by the quality - everything was so good. How is this possible? Prices aren't terrible either! Pretty standard for dim sum or chinese food, so very happy. Scallion pancake with beef was probably my least favorite. Still somewhat yummy though. Just very greasy and barely any beef/sauce in comparison to the green onion inside. Was still good though. Wish this was in a city near me... Can't go all the way to New York everytime for this quality of food. Sad. Will be back for more!!!

Not sure how I ended up here at 11pm on a Tuesday, but this is a great spot. Some of the better dim sum I've had in a few years. Flavors were definitely there. Personal favorites were the scallion beef pancake and the pan fries pork buns. Surprisingly impressed by the soup dumplings as well and would like to try the other types next time. Waiter was very attentive and helpful. Great spot with quick service and good food! Prices were very reasonable as well.

I'm so glad they've opened up a location in Manhattan! I used to take day trips to Flushing just to eat there. My favorite absolutely must-order items are the Stir-fried rice cakes with potherb and obviously the soup dumplings. They also have many other delicious options like their pan-fried buns or beef noodles. Anything you order here is going to be great. The food comes out super fast and you hardly have to wait. Staff is attentive and quick. The interior is very spacious. Upon entering at first, it seems like they only have a strip of seating. But once they take you further back, there is a lot more seating available. The decor is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

First time at this location, second time at Nan Xiang. Came for lunch, nice location, clean and not too busy. Staff was kind and attentive. Food was much better here than my first time having. Had the noodles and several sets of dumplings. Food was all warm here, would recommend.
